A Sad Day

Dylan walked into my bathroom while I was getting ready, "Mom, I need to cut my hair." I was busy doing my own hair, "No, your hair is cute, you don't need a hair cut."

"No, mom, I ALREADY cut my hair!" My heart dropped. I turned around to see that Dylan was right, he had already cut his hair. It was bad.

I found this by my fabric scissors:

Nana did the best she could, but now my little boy looks like this:

He bawled and held his face the whole time Nana cut his hair - he was devastated!! "My hair!, it's too little!"
You can probably see it still needs to be touched up - Nana couldn't hardly stand to cut any of it while he was crying. He keeps telling me not to say it's cute - "It's too little, it's not cute."

awe, this reminds me of my little brother and the first time my mom had to cut his hair. his nick name was "curly locks." i can see how this was heartbreaking, but he's still so handsome. how could he not with you as his mom?

I think worst than the hair is Dylan saiyin it's too little. :( I do think he looks very handsom though with his new haircut. I am sooo glad you are coming for Christmas. I am missing my sissy and her cute little boys!

He looks so cute! What blew my mind about this post is how he can talk in sentences! I think the last time I saw him he wasn't even two yet and not talking so much. Your boys are getting so big.

haha I already know Corbin will do this. At least his hair isn't cute curly like Dylans...same with Tyler so if Ty ever cuts his hair it might not be as sad of a day ;)

What a sweetheart. And he is so handsome EITHER way!!! I remember the day I took the girls away for a Mommy/Daughter weekend, and I came home and Cory had given Brock a mohawk. And we're talking the part with no hair was literally NO HAIR! Your mom did a great job cutting his hair. What a cutie!

Oh, what a cute story. Maybe he has learned this important lesson at young age. His curls will grow back soon.
